Breeding conditions:

As predation by Arctic Foxes increased, wader breeding performance was almost completely unsuccessful.
 

Rodent dynamics:

Populations of both lemming species were at their lowest levels and low numbers of voles were also recorded (Root Vole Microtus oeconomus).
